During our safety meetings each week at Above and Beyond Delivery, the topics of discussion are anything and everything related to safety. After all, safety is our number one goal for everyone at the company.
We witnessed an incident recently where a bicyclist had lost his balance, making him fall out of the bicycle lane and into a lane of vehicle traffic. Thankfully he was fine and able to just ride away on his own. Even though this incident was the fault of the cyclist and not the vehicles around him, it is still important to do everything we can to make sure everyone on the road gets to their destination safely. That includes our drivers, people in cars and riders on bicycles.
Those bike lanes are so close to car lanes, therefore we must be hyper-vigilant of our surroundings and stay mindful of sharing the road.
