ADOT's Challenge for Road Safety During Memorial Day Weekend

ADOT (Arizona Department of Transportation) is challenging drivers to engage in smarter and safer decisions and achieve zero traffic fatalities during Memorial Weekend. Simply stated - they want to see NO more fatal crashes.

The last time Arizona had zero car fatalities over a Memorial Day Weekend was in 1971?

The good news is the last 3 years, we have seen a downward trend of road/car fatalities, which is great news.

There are simple steps drivers can take to be safe in the car and on the road:

Do NOT drink and drive!
Wear a seat belt at all times when you are in a car, whether you are the driver or a passenger.
Always stay off your cell phone when you are driving.
